Little Saplings gets our highest recommendations across the board! What an amazing place! It's full of fun Montessori esq. activities and play structures. The people who work there truly care for the kids and help them learn and succeed. My son was there for almost a year. He became the sweetest confident independent lil guy with their guidance. Very clean and cute 2 room school house.

The director and teachers are wonderful at Little Saplings. Lots of exploration and indoor/outdoor play, and they gently teach social skills while also the basics of counting and letter recognition. Was a perfect transition for my daughter between being home during the pandemic and then going to TK. She attended for 1.5 years and we will send our younger daughter here too when she is old enough. Highly recommended! Clean and organized space with professional and caring staff. It's easy to feel like your children are well taken care of here.

My daughter went to school here and absolutely loved her experience. Little Saplings was big enough for her to get lots of socialization with other children, but not so big that it's overwhelming or too chaotic. She loved the wide variety of curriculum, from art and music to more academic based activities. The school is also amazing at fostering independence in the children, something that is paying off great now that she is in TK. I can't recommend Little Saplings enough.

Amazing school! My child did so well and made lots of friends. The teachers really care and work hard to teach with kindness and empathy will holding firm boundaries. My oldest had flourished and I plan on enrolling my littlest when she’s old enough too.

This is such a special, wonderful little school. We've watched our daughter's personality bloom during her time here, going from a shy, somewhat introverted child to a kid that's just full of personality. I'm always amazed at the constant flow of activities - the teachers come up with these ideas for hands-on learning that are nothing short of genius. The facilities are bright and clean, play areas are rotated often, and sometimes fun new things tend to "magically appear" over the weekend. Attendance is kept low, and the high teacher-to-student ratio is great for peace of mind. I know our daughter is safe because there are always plenty of watchful eyes. Furthermore, the teachers don't address the children in a childish tone (higher-pitched voice, slower speech, etc). They treat the kids respectfully and the kids learn to treat others the same way. Our family is really going to miss Little Saplings! This has been our first school experience of any kind, and we couldn't have asked for more.

The teachers and staff are very nice, energetic and engaging with the children. We liked the teacher / child ratio. The teachers come up with lots of creative projects which helped our daughter have fun, learn and grow. The classroom and outdoor areas are clean, bright and well taken care of which to me shows that the staff care. Enrolling our daughter in Little Saplings was one of the best decisions we could have made for a head start in her development.

Little Saplings has been a great next step in child care for our family. My child has enjoyed building relationships with her teachers and is learning valuable life skills that prepare her socially, emotionally, and academically for school readiness. Each week my child enthusiastically embraces thematic activities and programs that grow her understanding of the world around her. The play-based curriculum ignites her creativity. Because it's a brand new school, all of the equipment is new and in excellent condition. We especially love the large play yard with the mud pie kitchen and magic pallet school bus. My child especially loves gardening and caring for the yard. As Little Saplings is a City of Eureka program, the daily and school year schedules are accommodating to working families... and the proximity to Eureka businesses is especially convenient. We are pleased to be a part of the Little Saplings community, and recommend this Reggio-inspired child care program.
